High-temperature

3D printing

Engineering materials for demanding parts. Get a free online quote or discuss your application with us.

When everyday materials are not enough

Some parts need more than a good fit and correct dimensions. Heat, sustained loads and demanding environments can call for stronger, more capable materials. Reinforced nylons, polycarbonate and PPS offer different balances of stiffness, toughness and resistance - we have the materials for your demands.

Filter enclosure part in PAHT-CF

What does your part need to withstand?

Heat

Tell us the normal temperature, brief peaks and exposure duration. A short spike and continuous service are different requirements.

Mechanical load

Describe forces, vibration and impact. Geometry, print orientation and temperature all matter to the finished part.

Chemicals

Identify the fluids or substances the part will contact, including concentration, temperature and exposure time.

Moisture

Dry indoor conditions and humid or wet environments? Different materials fit different moisture requirements.

Find the right balance of properties

A carbon-fiber reinforced PAHT-CF part

PAHT-CF

Up to 170°C

Tough reinforced nylon with lower moisture absorption than pure PA6.

A carbon-fiber reinforced PA6 component

PA6-CF

Up to 180°C

Stiff, strong, carbon-filled nylon; highly hygroscopic and sensitive to moisture.

Annealing is recommended

A glass-fiber reinforced PA6 part

PA6-GF

Up to 180°C

Paintable glass-filled nylon for functional parts; high moisture absorption.

Annealing is recommended

A carbon-fiber reinforced PPS component

PPS-CF

Up to 260°C

Heat-resistant resin and carbon fiber composite with low moisture absorption and excellent mechanical properties.

Continuous operation up to 200c for PPS-CF.

A flame-retardant polycarbonate part

PC-FR

Up to 110°C

Flame-retardant polycarbonate matching UL94 V-0 fire standards.

* Temperature figures from TDS. These figures do not guarantee continuous service performance; finished-part suitability depends on geometry, load and environment. Please discuss your application with us to select the right material.
